At present, it has the largest ethanol processing base in the world. It can process approximately 13 billion liters of ethanol per year from sugar and is one of the major exporters of industrial ethanol. Thailand does not currently have a base for the production of ethanol. Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra said that he has decided to send experts to study this proposal and hopes to implement it as soon as possible.
