Rural Energy “Four in One” Ecological Model

The so-called “four-in-one” ecological model of rural energy refers to the production of high-yield, high-quality, and high-efficiency agriculture that uses biogas as a link in sunlight greenhouses to organically combine aquaculture with planting.

This “pattern” can fully integrate the fragmented labor time of farmers, increase the utilization rate and output rate of resources, and realize multi-level comprehensive utilization. It is an efficient circular economy model and has the characteristics of sustainable development.

In this model, a household biogas digester is built in the courtyard. A 10-20 square metre pig house is built above the pond and a 1-2 square metre toilet is built on the side. Parallel to the pig house is a vegetable greenhouse. Between the pig house and the vegetable shed is separated by a gable with ventilation holes, so that the pig house and the methane tank are all set in a plastic greenhouse. Except for the biogas digester structure, the above-ground parts can be divided into bamboo-wood structures and steel-brick structures according to the different economic abilities of users. The former is characterized by simplicity, low cost, but short service life, while the latter has long service life but high cost. According to different layouts, it can be divided into front and rear layouts and left and right layouts. The former refers to the digester, the pig house, and the toilet are located at the back of the solar greenhouse; the latter refers to the digester, the pig house, and the toilet at one end of the solar greenhouse. The two layouts mainly depend on the size and topography of the farmer's courtyard. The common layout is left and right.
