Since September 2006, most of the pig farms in this Municipality have developed epidemics characterized by cough, asthma, high fever, and respiratory failure. He had been treated as a gasping disease and used large doses of cyanine, streptomycin, metamizole, sulfa drugs, etc., all of which were ineffective, and the incidence and mortality rate were high. According to our necropsy and laboratory tests, it was diagnosed as swine pleuropneumonia caused by Actinobacillus infection. After a few days of treatment, the condition has been effectively controlled. 1 Etiological analysis Porcine infectious pleuropneumonia is a kind of respiratory infectious disease. The pathogen mainly inhabits the respiratory tract of infected pigs. It spreads in the air with sputum, nasal fluids and droplets. It also adds moisture to the house, poor ventilation, high feeding density, and feed nutrition. Lack of resistance causes the pigs to have a reduced resistance. 2 clinical symptoms Sick pigs with disordered hair, depressed spirit, loss of appetite, elevated body temperature (41-42°C), accelerated heart rate, asthma, cough, difficulty in breathing, severe abdominal breathing, and vomiting in some of the affected pigs. Mostly died of respiratory failure and heart failure. Chronic cases eased slightly later, and body temperature gradually returned to normal or slightly higher, but poor appetite. 3 necropsy changes A total of 6 dead pigs were anatomized. The common pathological changes were: bilateral lung, lung heart, leaf, temporal lobe lesions and adhesion with the chest cavity, trachea, bronchial filled with foamy blood red liquid, pleural effusion The pericardial effusion, the lymph of the small intestine was dark red, and the kidney was swollen and congested. No obvious pathological changes were found in other organs. 4 laboratory diagnosis 4.1 smear microscopy Sterile collection of disease, dead pig's nasal cavity, trachea, thoracic liquid smear or lung lymph node contact, Gram stain microscopic examination, visible Gram-negative bacilli. 4.2 Bacterial culture Aseptically collected blood, spleen, and hilar lymph nodes were each inoculated on broth agar medium and placed in a 37°C incubator for 24 hours. See the growth of a white, translucent colony of rounded tip size on the medium. Take a few colonies. Staining microscopy showed Gram-negative spheroids, some filiform, identified according to the above characteristics of Actinobacillus pneumoniae. 5 Treatment measures Due to Actinobacillus decidua, strong resistance to drugs, the following drugs were selected. 5.1 0.2mg/kg urease treatment and 0.2mL/kg qieno were injected intramuscularly for 3 days. 5.2 Chain health 0.2mL/kg, long-acting oxytetracycline 0.2mL/kg, respectively, intramuscular injection, once every 3 days. In the whole group of diets, 250 kg of material/bag plus Qigen 500 kg/bag was added to the diet. After 3 days of treatment with the above protocol, the symptoms had been significantly reduced and no death occurred. After 1 week, the return visit has basically recovered and the cure rate has reached 95%. 6 Preventive measures 6.1 The stocking density of the pens should not be too large. According to the weather changes, the ventilation and ventilation should be done at any time to keep the inside of the ring dry and sanitize. 6.2 Feeding full-price feeds and feeds is the best way to prevent this disease. Qiong powder 250kg/bag or Teruixian 500kg/bag produced by Henan Zhenghao Veterinary Medicine Co., Ltd. can be used for the best results. 6.3 The farm with this history is regularly vaccinated against live porcine contagious pleuropneumonia. Observe the newly-acquired pigs for isolation and implement vaccination to prevent the purchase of infected pigs. 6.4 Strictly abide by the system of all-in, all-out, and eliminate the continuous feeding mode of production and the polyculture of pigs from different sources.
