"Green Food Label Management Regulations" Implementing Attention to Identify Genuine Green Food

From October 1st, the newly revised "Administrative Measures on Green Food Marks" of the Ministry of Agriculture was formally implemented. The reporter learned from the Fujian Provincial Green Food Development Center that Fujian Province will further introduce policies and measures to strengthen the supervision of the use of green food labels. Experts from the Fujian Green Food Development Center specially reminded the public to pay attention to distinguishing the authenticity of green food.

It is reported that the average price of green food is 20%-30% higher than that of general agricultural products. Driven by the interests, some unapproved agricultural products have been labeled as "green food."

How to identify the authenticity of the green food mark? According to experts, the green food logos are required to be placed in a conspicuous position on the product. The company's information code must be specified above. Consumers can log in to the China Green Food Network to inquire. If they have any problems, they can also call the Fujian Green Food Development Center for advice. The current green food logo enterprise information code consists of 12 members, with the first 6 representing the "area code", the middle 2 representing the "certified year", and the last 4 representing the "certified enterprise serial number". According to the newly revised method, the green food mark use certificate is valid for 3 years.
